The Story of Our Name: HabiTerre

We are excited to announce our new company name, HabiTerre. The name combines the words “habitat” and “terre” (meaning “earth”), and reflects our mission to empower a sustainable habitat on Earth.

We provide in-depth intelligence for agricultural land, including crop, water, nutrient, and carbon, from aboveground to belowground. This intelligence helps different actors in the agricultural supply chain, such as food companies, farmer co-ops, water managers, and farmland investors make smarter choices for the health of their businesses and the planet.

Although we changed our name, we still have the same ownership and the same (but growing) team of scientists and business executives who share a passion to harness the power of science to build a sustainable and profitable future in agriculture.
